Connection of Ring Roads 6 & 7, Kuwait City

The structures included in the connection between Ring Roads 6 & 7 were all designed as precast segmental balanced cantilever box girders.

The subcontractor in charge of the execution of presetressing and erection hired SILGA to perform a general construction engineering support.

Works included the design of temporary towers, and redesign of the temporary tie-down systems that fix the deck and piers during the cantilevering stage. Also included general assistance to geometry control during erection, and temporary PT bar system.
